Change
If I could change the ending of a book, I wouldn’t change the end any book endings. If I did, the book would mine, and if I wanted to create a book, I would try to.
If I had to change the ending of The Last Book In The Universe, I would put another conquest where Spaz goes to a different planet much like his own and meet a mercenary. He would start a settlement with many different kinds of people and animals, a latch to protect the community, and himself as the latch boss. He would create things he was in Eden, like grass, sky, streams, hills, etc., and he would go to war trying to protect those creations from being destroyed or conserved in one single spot.
The other societies would try to take the community, which the main hero (the mercenary) has, and try to keep the colors and the substance, which they conserve themselves in, in the spot they own. The main hero meets a woman who takes him on a journey to save Spaz from the coming armies.
Now you can see why I don’t write books. :P

It's an interesting sequel to a good book. Don't discount your ideas so quickly.

I've never read the book that you wrote about, but you made me want to read it. I think that you could actually write a book if you really wanted to let the world know about something that meant the world to you. It's just a matter of lacking passion for you. That's all. Great job though.

I would change a book if I could. Changing things are good and cool. If you change your habits then that would be good.

i agree with rachel if you really wanted to you could write a book about anything you want it to be about... i know that you have a creative mind... but i could see why you may not like writing books.
