The brown bird
One day we got home and were taking food inside. We finished bringing groceries inside and forgot about are garage and left it open. And later that day we went to the store and bought lumber to build a big tree house in a tree that we just cut the branches off of.
And it started to build it and it took us tree days to build it. On the second day we left our garage open for about three hours and when we went inside for lunch. I heard some thing making a weird noise like “chirp, chirp, chirp”
and flapping around in our garage. At first we thought it was a bat or an owl and so we grabbed it with a fishing net. It turned out to be a brown dove so we pulled it out of the net and let it free!!

That is good that you let it go. Most people would just keep it and then eventually it would have died. You are a good person.
