What do you think causes people to have so much pride that they will go to the highest just so that they can show people that they have pride. Well in the book that I read the creator and the creature both had so much pride that they would do anything in order for people to believe them. For example the creator had so much pride for himself that in order to show the other towns’ people he made a monster and brought it to life.
Then the monster had so much pride for himself that in order to try and get some friends he would go and ask someone and they would run away and hide. Then after they would runaway he would kill them and then he would go and do it again. In the end the main message was that no matter how much pride you have you always want to keep it to yourself. Don’t make a fool of yourself because in the end it will back fire and hurt you.

i think that pride causes a lot of problems and that i have trouble with it myself just like everyone else.

"Vanity has played a part in every leader's downfall" I think is a great quote. I agree with you that pride is dangerous and t is good to be proud of yourself, but not to the point where you are vain.
